La casa morisca de Zafra se conservó, casi intacta, hasta principios del siglo XX, dentro de las dependencias del mencionado convento. En 1946 el alcalde de Granada, Gallego Burín, adquirió la casa para la ciudad.A partir de ese momento se realizaron diversas restauraciones, siendo la última, la llevada a cabo entre los años 2010 - 2012.

This was the house of Hernanda de Zafra, de secratary of the King. It was built in the 16th century and is one of the few examples of civil Gothic architecture in Granada that has survived. Inside it has a rectangulare square with an "Alberca", a water deposatory in the center. The tower consists of arched galleries covered with Moorish wooden roofs.
